Along the way, she discovered that Sheridan became a place to call home – where she and her classmates learned what it meant to lead, grow and belong. “It gave us more than just an education – it gave us purpose.” Mannat’s contributions to campus life were recognized with a Sheridan Student Union (SSU) award and the prestigious Bruno Team Leadership Award.

解锁未来：Rana El Ayoubi

Rana El Ayoubi graduated from the 英语语言研究 (ESL) Certificate program, General Arts and Science in the 人文社会科学学院. 她在谢里登继续她的学业，作为一个机会，重新开始，建立一个新的生活。 她面临的最大挑战是如何在照顾四个孩子和充分关注自己的教育之间取得平衡。 她还面临着多年不学习后重新开始的恐惧。 “Was it tough? Sheridan taught us how to communicate effectively, advocate for our peers and be passionate about our goals, no matter how small.”

Mehreen Musharafa graduated from the 业务分析和流程管理 program in the 皮隆商学院. Her Sheridan journey reflects a deep belief in community, collaboration and kindness, and she often supported her peers as they navigated challenges – providing guidance, sharing resources and taking on additional responsibilities for collective success. Mehreen credited her parents for being the foundation of who she is today – helping her develop resilience, drive, integrity and empathy. Despite feeling overwhelmed as she balanced school work with her job, she reflected that her time at Sheridan“ taught me that growth doesn’t always feel like progress...但在混乱中，我发现了自己的本性。 她在演讲结束时提醒大家，领导要有勇气，而不仅仅是凭据。 “Let’s walk into rooms knowing we belong – not because of what’s on our resume, but because of the strength, resilience and courage we showed when no one was watching.”

解锁舒适区：Cat Nguyen

Cat Nguyen graduated from the Business – Finance program in the 皮隆商学院. 她在谢里登经历了个人成长和超越舒适区的挑战，她的演讲激励了其他人也这样做。 “I stopped seeing success as just getting high marks,” Cat said. “I knew that life would not change if I always chose to stay stuck in my safe zone, so I started saying yes to new things.” 她最初性格内向，只关注学术，后来发现了参与学生生活的价值。 “That’s also what I’ve learned most here at Sheridan: growth happens when you try – whether you’re good at it or not. We’ve all had different paths, but we’ve shared the experience of learning, adapting, and showing up anyway.”

Jesse Plews graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences – Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the 应用健康与社区研究学院. A natural community builder, Jesse went above and beyond to foster a sense of connection and support among his peers and played a vital role in creating an environment where others felt seen, heard and valued – further demonstrated 通过 him being awarded the Rayan Kaber Memorial Award, which commemorates a former Sheridan kinesiology student. Jesse’s father passed away during his time at Sheridan and Jesse had to learn how hard it was to live without him. “Through that grief, I learned something powerful: that pain and gratitude can live in the same place,” Jesse said. “That even when we lose someone we love, their impact doesn’t disappear.” 杰西提醒我们不要等待让我们的生活有意义。 “Because the world needs you. 不仅仅是你的学位或GPA。 它需要你的热情，你的同情，你的真心。 Let’s be the kind of people who show up for others. 解锁终身学习：詹妮弗·洛根

Jennifer Logan graduated with an 幼儿领导荣誉学士学位 from the 应用健康与社区研究学院s. Rest when you need to, celebrate small victories, and recognize that self-compassion is just as important as persistence.” Rubiat reminded her classmates that when they go out into the world and see challenges that feel impossible – to try anyway.

家的感觉：Paras Sharma
