Enactus谢里丹 has once again demonstrated the power of student-driven innovation after taking home three top placements at the 2025年中央区域博览会 in 米西索加, Ont. and three awards at the 2025年全国博览会 in Calgary, Alberta.

“I joined Enactus谢里丹 in August 2024, as I’ve always liked to be in competitive environments where I could push myself to build and grow skillsets,” explains Allen Abraham (营销管理, ’25), a Project Manager at Enactus谢里丹. “When I heard of the scale of Enactus regionals and Nationals Expositions and the efforts Sheridan was putting into them, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to participate.

The team’s success was anchored 通过 three standout projects that addressed pressing issues in financial literacy, housing and youth employment. FinFlare是一项旨在使金融知识变得有趣和容易获得的金融教育倡议，在Desjardins青年赋权挑战赛中获得亚军。

Through interactive games and live shows, and in partnership with CPA 安大略, the project reached over 100 students, brought to life 通过 presenters Rishabh Mishra (计算机科学荣誉学士学位, ’27), Sathyangana Fernando (广告客户管理, ’25) and Sahir Mohammad (业务分析和流程管理, ’25).

“I joined (Enactus) to make a difference in the community, but it gave so much more. Being able to present (at the Central Regional Exposition) was a life-changing experience filled with learning, growth and unforgettable connections.”

In the Enactus Canada 校友 Innovation and Impact Challenge, Sheridan’s Uni-verse project also placed as first runner-up. Developed to address the student housing crisis, Uni-verse offers a roommate matching prototype focused on wellness and community support. Project leaders Allen Abraham and Samiksha Sehgal (广告客户管理, ’25) showcased how the tool aims to improve student living experiences across campuses.

Another highlight was the Learn2Earn project, which secured second runner-up in the TD Entrepreneurship Challenge. 该计划旨在弥合教育和就业之间的差距，每周提供技能培训，并帮助创造了40个兼职工作，使近200名学生受益。 The project was presented 通过 VP of Marketing Ayushi Prajapati (营销管理 and 广告客户管理, ’24) and team co-president Drishti Kothari (营销管理, ’24).

Kothari, who was also a Top 10 finalist for the Women Leader of the Year award, believes that her leadership experience at Enactus谢里丹 will serve her well in her future endeavors and has “made her a better leader for tomorrow.”

At the national level, Enactus谢里丹 was also recognized for its sustainability-focused 绿色的朋友 project, which won for Best Project Photo Contest and was spearheaded 通过 co-president Gagandeep Kaur (Business analysis and Process Management, 25’) and Satvik Verma (广告客户管理, 25’). 该项目通过鼓励学生种植和保存自己的食物，同时也支持面临政治和经济困难的黎巴嫩农民，促进生态意识生活。

Much of the team’s growth and development has been supported 通过 longtime faculty advisors Professor Garrett Hall and Dr. Connie Stevens, who have guided Enactus谢里丹 for over eight years.

Hall, a Professor of Digital Marketing with over 30 years of industry experience, also mentors at Sheridan’s EDGE创业中心, while Dr. Stevens, a Professor in Sheridan’s Office Administration – Health Services, brings deep healthcare expertise to her guidance.
