The camps highlight some of Sheridan’s hallmark programs, such as the 音乐戏剧表演荣誉学士学位, as well as science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) focused camps led by the 应用科学与技术学院. The camps reflect the College’s commitment to inspiring the next generation through creativity, innovation and hands-on learning.

“Theatre camp helps strengthen, first and foremost, self-confidence; self-confidence in creativity, in play and in one’s own voice,” said Ned Loach, academic portfolio administrator in the Faculty of Animation, Arts & Design. “We know that, as adults, public speaking can be challenging, which is what makes theatre camp so valuable at this age. 营员们将有机会在与家人和朋友的表演中结束他们一周的夏令营。”

“We look forward to inviting young people in our community to our Davis campus to participate in fun and educational summer camps,” said Dr. Elizabeth Fabbroni, Dean of the 应用科学与技术学院. “Our expert faculty and instructors, state-of-the-art facilities and engaging programming will help these youths explore careers in STEM fields they may not have considered or know about. These camps may spark innovative thinking and inspire campers to pursue studies in STEM fields, and become the next generation of industry professionals.”

July's TechTrek Camps are free, hands-on technology and engineering day camps designed to spark creativity, problem-solving and collaboration in youths entering Grades 8–10. 夏令营将分为两周，每周都有相同的节目，为家庭提供灵活的安排选择。 营员们将通过动态活动探索现实世界的工程：用电实验、机器人编程以及应用力、摩擦、质量和加速度等物理概念。

Summer camps, and other programs showcasing the transformative power of postsecondary education, are an integral part of Sheridan’s mission statement. In partnership with youth-serving organizations across Halton and Peel, programs such as 技能安大略省夏令营 under the 青年放大 banner seek to intentionally forge pathways to postsecondary for equity-deserving groups.
